Michele
Leblanc is a Co-Director of the MASC Summer Leadershiop Conference.
Michele is a graduate from the Northbridge High School and the
University of New Hampshire. Currently, Michele is a Culinary
Arts instructor at Blackstone Valley Regional Technical High School
in Upton, Massachusetts. Before becoming a teacher, she was an
assistant director of catering sales at the Harvard Club in Boston
and for The Westin Hotels & Resorts. Michele began teaching nine
years ago and serves as the Student Council advisor for Blackstone
Valley Tech.
Michele has a long
history in student council, as a member of the Northbridge High
School Student Council from 1982-86, serving as its secretary,
vice president and president. In 1986, Michele served as the Vice
President of the CDMASC board and attended the National Association
of Student Councils’ Convention in June 1985. Most recently, Michele
was honored as the Massachusetts Student Council Advisor of the
Year in 2002.
After school hours,
Michele is a field hockey official and girls’ junior varsity basketball
coach. She is a member of the Culinary Guild of New England, Women
Chefs and Restaurateurs, the National Field Hockey Federation,
and Council of Hospitality Industry Educators.
