The Walk for Hunger is a 20-mile walk that wends it way through Boston and neigboring cities to raise awareness for hunger. The Walk for Hunger is sponsored  by Project Bread which is dedicated to ending hunger in teh commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Walk was held this year on May 3rd, and over 44,000 participants came to support the cause this year. Through the efforts of those who donated, the Walk for Hunger raised $3.8 million, 92% of there goal of $4.1 million.

M.A.S.C. supports this cause, and encourages student councils around the state to get their schools invovled.
